Biden Snubs Mnangagwa Again

After President Mnangagwa failed to have a face to face meeting with US President Joe Biden in Glasgow last week at the COP26 climate summit. Zimbabwe has once again been excluded from the US Virtual Summit on Democracy to be held on the 9-10 of December

A list of countries released yesterday by the United States showed that Biden invited more than 100 countries, including our northern neighbor Zambia.

It’s the first gathering of its kind as Biden looks to fulfill his campaign promise of a return to global leadership against authoritarian forces led by China and Russia.

During the COP26 summit Mnangagwa cut a lonely tag, and didn’t have a meeting with either Biden or UK Prime minister Boris Johnson.

Addressing ZANU PF supporters who had come to welcome him he said that Biden only instructed his aid to write down his concerns on sanctions.
